"The Poetic Revolt" Project

A "Poem-House" created by L2 students of Interior & Environmental Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art (University of Dundee), as part of a word & image project devised by myself and run in collaboration with Dr. Valerie Robillard (University of Groningen). Students were asked to take inspiration from the form - both 'open' and 'closed' - and feeling of poetry to and make 'poem-objects' that could then be used as a springboard for the design of interior architectural space, in the form of a house for a poet. This "Poem-House" was inspired by a poem by Dylan Thomas, "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night".
