"Dream Box"

Inspired by a poem, "Meg", by Jim Stewart, in "For A' That: A Celebration of Burns" (2009, The University of Dundee Press). This ode to Tam o'Shanter's mare ends with the following lines

Ah fell asleep tae yon sweet rail,
and had nostalgik dreams
o meadows, flooers, rinnin streams...

In Cornellesque mood, I decided to 'enclose' the dream within a box, as if petrified, making only tiny reference to the tail, by incorporating a 'flick' of gold wire, coming out of the gold interior. It is, I admit, a highly personal response...
